If you like to shoot then this is the hunt for you! Because there is such an abundance of wild game in this area, the outfitter must remove a certain number of animals each year. This hunt is the means they use to accomplish their management goals. The result is a great hunt for you, and more biologically sound habitat. Many of the “Management Animals” taken on this hunt rival the trophy quality other outfitters sell as trophies. Just look at the pictures of some of the gemsbok and springbok our clients routinely take on this hunt. Many of them score well in the SCI record book!
With this package, you will hunt the red sands of the Kalahari Desert on a hunt over 75,000 acres of prime terrain. You will be guided by an experienced Professional Hunter, who grew up in this beautiful, rugged and remote region of Africa. Our PHs work in tandem with some of the world's most skilled trackers, the San people of Namibia. These trackers can see the faintest tracks in the red sands of the Kalahari, enabling them to lead you to herds of gemsbok and springbok that sometimes number in the hundreds. The hunting is done from specialized hunting vehicles - Range Rovers stripped down to save weight, which prevents them from sinking into the soft sand. While these “Dune Rovers” look a little odd they are incredible machines to tackle the dunes in.
