This outfitter hunts over 25,000 acres in the rolling brush-covered hills of the Khomas Hochland, northwest of Windhoek Namibia. This habitat is excellent for greater kudu, Hartmann's zebra and warthog. With this package you will begin your hunt in the Khomas Hochland then you will travel South to the red sands of the Kalahari Desert to hunt over 75,000 acres of prime terrain for superior trophy quality gemsbuck, springbuck, hartebeest and steenbuck. This is an incredibly unique experience. No other outfitter can have you hunt both places on the same trip, certainly not at this price! Khomas Hochland hunting is primarily spot and stalk, glassing steep canyons and rolling hills for one of the most treasured species in Africa, the greater kudu. If you choose to hunt a warthog, it will be in this country as well. The accommodations in the Khomas Camp are in a large and very beautiful ranch house / lodge.
Next, you are off to the Kalahari Camp, where you will be guided by experienced professional hunters who grew up in this beautiful, rugged, and remote area of Africa, and by some of the world's most skilled trackers, the San people of Namibia. These trackers can see the faintest tracks in the red sands of the Kalahari, enabling them to lead you to herds of gemsbuck and springbuck that sometimes number in the hundreds. The hunting is done from specialized hunting vehicles - Range Rovers stripped down to save weight, which prevents them from sinking into the soft sand. When tracks are spotted, you will begin your stalk. Most times, you will find yourself, your PH and the tracker "leopard crawling" through clumps of grass, which top the 50 - 60 foot red Kalahari dunes.
